Martin Atkinson to referee Europa League final

Martin Atkinson has been named as the referee for this season's Europa League final between Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk and Sevilla in Warsaw.

The 44-year-old Englishman, who became an international referee in 2006, has overseen 67 UEFA fixtures during his career.

Atkinson has officiated one Europa League match and eight Champions League games this season.

Fellow countrymen Michael Mullarkey and Stephen Child will assist Atkinson for the final, while the fourth official will be Czech Pavel Kralovec.

Dnipro and Sevilla go face to face at the National Stadium in Warsaw on May 27.
