Derby County 'want goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann from Watford'

Derby County are reportedly interested in Watford goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann.

Derby have been linked with several keepers this window as Philip Cocu eyes a new first choice to overtake Scott Carson and Kelle Roos in the pecking order.

According to Football Insider, Derby goalkeeping coach Shay Given has recommended Bachmann to the club and a loan move could be considered.

Given worked with Bachmann at Stoke City before the latter moved to the Hornets in 2017.

The Austrian failed to make a single first-team appearance at Vicarage Road despite being named in the matchday squad nine times in his debut campaign.
