Derby County defender Isak Ssewankambo heads for Molde

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Molde complete the signing of Derby County defender Isak Ssewankambo for an undisclosed fee.

Derby County have announced that Isak Ssewankambo has joined Molde for an undisclosed fee.

The 20-year-old, who had a trainee stint with Chelsea, made just one senior appearance for the Rams following his arrival from NAC Breda in January 2015.

The 2016 Norwegian campaign gets underway next weekend, so Ssewankambo will link up with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men in time for the season-opener against Tromso.

"I send my best regards to all the staff, all teammates and of course to all the fantastic supporters for Derby County FC. Thank you," the defender wrote on Twitter.

The transfer window in Norway does not close until the end of the month.
