Dagenham & Redbridge sign Rhys Murphy

Dagenham & Redbridge have signed former Arsenal trainee Rhys Murphy on a short-term contract.

The 22-year-old, who spent last season with Dutch outfit Telstar, had been available on a free transfer this summer.

A number of clubs were linked with a move for his services, but the League Two outfit have secured his signature for the new campaign.

Murphy has also played for Brentford and Preston North End in his career.
