Crystal Palace lineup vs. Tottenham: Predicted XI for Premier League clash

Strand Larsen, Timber, Mateta decisions: Predicted Crystal Palace lineup vs. Spurs

Crystal Palace will have to cope without at least three players for Saturday’s Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur in North London.

Ismaila Sarr is still struggling with a groin injury and remains sidelined along with defensive pair Takehiro Tomiyasu (calf) and Chadi Riad (knee).

However, under-pressure head coach Pierre Sage has confirmed that Quinten Timber may feature in some capacity on Saturday after missing the previous three games with a hamstring issue. Despite this, Adam Wharton and Daichi Kamada are the most likely duo to start in centre-midfield.

Jorgen Strand Larsen is training individually and is another who may be ready to return to the matchday squad, though Jean-Philippe Mateta is expected to be restored as Palace’s central striker.

Eddie Nketiah led the line for the Eagles and scored the only goal in a 1-0 win at Fulham in the EFL Cup fourth round on Wednesday; he could join Mateta in attack but faces competition from Yeremy Pino and Dwight McNeil.

Tyrick Mitchell and Anan Khalaili are both expected to be return as wing-backs, while Axel Disasi and Jaydee Canvot may come in for Jefferson Lerma and Honest Ahanor to start in the back three alongside Chris Richards.

Dean Henderson was fit to start in goal in midweek after missing the previous nine games through injury, and the Eagles captain is expected to play again, with Walter Benitez providing cover.

Crystal Palace possible starting lineup:

Henderson; Canvot, Disasi, Richards; Khalaili, Wharton, Kamada, Mitchell; Pino, Nketiah; Mateta
