Stephen Dobbie: "I'll keep working hard"

Crystal Palace striker Stephen Dobbie hopes that he will play some part in the club's upcoming Premier League season.

Crystal Palace forward Stephen Dobbie has said that he will continue to work hard in order to try to earn himself a place in the first team for the upcoming season.

Dobbie, who was on loan at Championship side Blackpool last season, says that the final decision on whether he stays rests with manager Tony Pulis, but is hopeful of playing some part in the Premier League.

"I won't get carried away," he told the club's official website. "It was our first game against an Austrian local team, so I'll take it for what it is, train as hard as I can and see what the manager thinks after that.

"Obviously the final decision is up to him, but I'll just keep working hard, as I've done this week, and see what happens."

Dobbie made just one appearance for Palace last season.
