Vinicius Araujo enjoying early Valencia career

Vinicius Araujo hopes to be given the chance to impress for Valencia after joining the Spanish outfit from Cruzeiro in January.

Valencia forward Vinicius Araujo has revealed that he has enjoyed his first couple of months in Spain after making the move from Brazilian side Cruzeiro in January.

The 21-year-old, who has scored seven times in 10 games for Brazil Under-20s, has also claimed that football is "more technical" in Spain than his home nation.

"Right from the first moment, I've sought to prepare myself well and adapt myself well in Spain. I'm trying to make the most of the opportunities I get and when I get into games, score goals," he told reporters at a press conference.

"What matters most of all though, is adapting myself quickly, so that I can then think of other things.

"The main difference here in Spain is that the football is more technical, it's a more intense kind of game. In Brazilian football, there's more time and space to think, whilst the players are more individualistic."

Araujo joined Cruzeiro in 2007.
