Pressley praises Coventry players

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has stated that he is proud of the way the club's players have approached their first two games of the season.

The Sky Blues began the season with a 10-point deduction and were only given special dispensation to sign players after the first two games of the campaign.

Despite losing to Crawley Town and Leyton Orient this week, Pressley has said that he is pleased with his side's efforts.

"I don't think at this moment the players could give any more than they are giving, I'm exceptionally proud," he told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire.

"We're disappointed because you want to win games of football, but it's going to be step-by-step this season.

"If we keep making the progress we're making as a team, I think we can be a very good side this season."

Coventry face Bristol City on Sunday.
