Colorado Rapids have overtaken Vancouver Whitecaps into fourth place in the MLS Western Conference after a 3-2 win over Montreal Impact.

Patrice Bernier broke the deadlock after 14 minutes with a shot from the left side of the box to the bottom right corner to give the visitors the lead.

Hassoun Camara gave Jeff Larentowicz the opportunity to level the scores after bringing Wells Thompson down inside the box. The midfielder sent the ball onto the bottom right corner.
