Alberto Paloschi praises "champion" Luca Toni

Alberto Paloschi says that Hellas Verona striker Luca Toni is a "great champion" after scoring his 19th Serie A goal of the season in the 1-1 draw with Chievo.

Chievo forward Alberto Paloschi has spoken of his admiration for Hellas Verona striker Luca Toni.

The veteran striker scored his 19th Serie A goal of the season as the two Verona clubs shared a 2-2 draw in the Derby della Scala this afternoon.

"He is a champion and every year he always manages to score at least 10 goals," Paloschi told Sky Sport Italia.

"He is a great striker and is one who we should all try to watch in his movement and how he does things to try and learn something. He has won everything and really is a great champion."

Paloschi was also on the scoresheet today, taking his tally to nine goals in Serie A this campaign.
