Liverpool reportedly have no plans to replace Sadio Mane with Chelsea's Christian Pulisic following the Senegal international's switch to Bayern Munich.

Liverpool reportedly have no plans to pursue a deal for Chelsea attacker Christian Pulisic this summer.

The USA international only made 13 starts for the Blues in the 2021-22 Premier League season and has been tipped to head for the exit door in the coming weeks.

Pulisic's contract at Stamford Bridge is due to expire in the summer of 2024, and the 23-year-old has found it difficult to displace the likes of Mason Mount, Timo Werner and Kai Havertz in the attack.

Liverpool were rumoured to be keeping a close eye on Pulisic amid their attacking shake-up, as Sadio Mane and Divock Origi have ended their stints with the Merseyside club.

However, CBS Sports journalist Ben Jacobs claims that Liverpool are currently not interested in a move for Pulisic, who has also been linked with AC Milan and Juventus.

Liverpool have already added to their attacking ranks with the signings of Darwin Nunez and Fabio Carvalho, while right-back Calvin Ramsay has also joined from Aberdeen.

Jacobs adds that Liverpool could still pursue a deal for another attacking player before the window shuts following Mane and Origi's exits, despite previous reports claiming that the Reds will not sign another player this summer.

Pulisic banked a total of eight goals and five assists in 38 appearances for Chelsea in all tournaments last season, taking his total for the Blues to 25 goals and 18 assists in 114 outings.

Since arriving in a £57.6m deal three-and-a-half years ago, Pulisic has won the Champions League, Club World Cup and UEFA Super Cup with the London club.

After seeing two bids for Mane rejected earlier this summer, Bayern Munich finally reached an agreement for the transfer of Mane, who was unveiled by the German club on Wednesday.

Liverpool will receive an upfront fee of £27.5m for the 30-year-old, which could rise to £35m with add-ons, and he leaves with 120 goals and 48 assists under his belt from 269 games for the club.

"After every one of my games in Munich I will come to the dressing room and I will watch Liverpool, for sure, because I am going to be Liverpool's No.1 fan forever," Mane told liverpoolfc.com in his exit interview.

"Obviously it is strange – really, really strange – to no longer be a Liverpool player after six years spent at Anfield. But of course I had a great time, an unbelievable time, and since my first day I really, really enjoyed training, playing, at Anfield especially and in front of these amazing supporters.

"Like I always say, my life is always [about a] challenge and when it came I said to the club that I want to leave, I want to go somewhere else to see a new challenge. It is not anything else, it is just a challenge because for me I want to always be challenging myself to get better and better."

Meanwhile, Origi will officially leave Liverpool as a free agent at the end of the month, and the Belgium international is on the verge of sealing a transfer to AC Milan.
