Palmeiras midfielder Gabriel Menino emerges as a transfer target for Chelsea, according to a report.

Chelsea are reportedly keen to bring Palmeiras midfielder Gabriel Menino to Stamford Bridge.

The 20-year-old has made 59 appearances for his current club in all competitions, contributing four goals and seven assists in the process.

According to UOL, Atletico Madrid are closely following the midfielder, who could potentially be available for somewhere between €15m (£12.9m) and €20m (£17.1m) in the upcoming transfer window.

However, the report claims that Chelsea are likely to provide competition for the Brazil Under-20s international, with the Blues keen to bring him to the Premier League.

Menino joined Palmeiras from Guarani in 2017, spending two years in the youth team before making his senior debut against Ituano in the Campeonato Paulista in January 2020.

Thomas Tuchel's side are also allegedly determined to sign Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland during this summer's transfer window.
