Chelsea sign midfielder Bertrand Traore

Chelsea have signed Burkina Faso attacking midfielder Bertrand Traore on a four-and-a-half-year contract, the club have confirmed.

The player has been capped at full international level by the African nation and has signed a deal after being on trial during the summer.

"Chelsea Football Club is delighted to announce an agreement to sign Bertrand Traore," a club statement read. "The 18-year-old has agreed a four-and-a-half-year contract."

Traore has won 10 caps in total for Burkina Faso.
