Chelsea boss Tuchel expecting quiet January window

Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel has suggested that he does not expect to make any new signings during the January transfer window.

Despite their heavily-populated squad, Chelsea have encountered problems at left wing-back and in central midfield due to a number of key injuries.

However, although there remains a possibility that the Blues may need to find cover for Ben Chilwell, Tuchel has revealed that he has full 'trust' in his current group of players.

Speaking to reporters at a press conference, the German said: "We are not in talks right now that we bring in players because first of all we trust our squad and hope we can bring all players back, be at full strength, and then we have a full squad and a good atmosphere to protect. This is where we are now."

Tuchel also answered questions on four players who are out of contract in the summer, resulting in a call for patience from both himself and anyone associated with the club.
