Chelsea battling Atletico Madrid for Netherlands teenager?

Chelsea are reportedly considering a bid for Stoke City youngster Mohamed Sankoh.

While Frank Lampard is known to be keen on first-team additions during the next transfer window, the Blues have been pro-active in their search for players who could join their academy setup.

According to Goal, the Premier League giants are taking a look at Sankoh, who has impressed at Under-18 level this season.

The 16-year-old Dutch has contributed nine goals and nine assists throughout the campaign, inevitably leading to interest in his signature.

The report claims that Atletico Madrid are also keen on Sankoh as they, too, look for options for the future.
