Agent: 'Chelsea want Marco van Ginkel'

The agent of Marco van Ginkel has claimed that Chelsea are interested in a move for the Vitesse Arnhem midfielder.

The Dutch Under-21 international has recently been linked with a summer switch to Stamford Bridge.

"Chelsea are interested, we don't deny it," Karel Jansen told De Telegraaf. "But there are more clubs. Ajax had made official contact with Vitesse, but they don't want to talk with them.

"Marco still has two years under contract at the GelreDome, so we don't know if he will leave Arnhem but there isn't an agreement right now."

Van Ginkel is currently on international duty with the Netherlands at the Under-21 European Championship in Israel.
