QPR boss Harry Redknapp expects Frank Lampard to be a success at new club

Redknapp expects more Lampard success

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp believes that Frank Lampard will continue to be successful at whichever club he chooses to play for in the near future.

The England international has been linked with a move to new MLS franchise New York City after deciding to leave Chelsea.

"Maybe if he's going to go, now's the time," London 24 quotes Redknapp as saying. "I'm sure he'll be focused on the World Cup now - he won't be thinking about much else.

"It could be exciting to go to New York, though, a new project over there, but he'll be successful in whatever he wants to do. The only person Frank would ask for advice is his dad, but he'll know, he's a very shrewd boy."

Lampard spent 13 years playing for Chelsea.
