Chelsea striker Demba Ba has been forced to pull out of the Senegal squad for Tuesday's international against Guinea, with his club participation also in doubt.
The 27-year-old was forced off the field in Chelsea's 3-2 defeat to Newcastle United at the weekend after suffering a broken nose in a clash with Fabricio Coloccini.
"All the best to my senegal's boys tonight vs guinea... wish i could be there. All the best 2 alain giresse for his debut as senegal manager," Ba tweeted.
The striker is also doubt for Chelsea's league clash against Wigan Athletic at the weekend.
