Live Coverage: Jose Mourinho's weekly Chelsea press conference

Jose Mourinho has confirmed that club doctor Eva Carneiro and physio Jon Fearn will not be on the bench for Chelsea's trip to Manchester City in the Premier League this weekend.

The manager criticised the duo for treating Eden Hazard while the team were already a man down in their draw with Swansea City last week.

Mourinho also revealed that Oscar is a doubt after picking up a knock in training.

The statement on the club's medical team meant that Mourinho was able to avoid too many awkward questions about his conflict with Eva Carneiro. Fans will also be concerned by the news that Oscar is carrying a training knock, as he was heavily involved against Swansea.

12.47pmMourinho as asked about the stability at the club. He tells reporters: "I believe the owner will be here for many, many years. The board just gave me a new contract, and we have great stability."

12.46pmReplays of the incident suggest that Hazard requested Carneiro come on to treat him, but when Mourinho is asked if that was the case, he quickly retorts: "I'm not discussing it."

12.45pmDespite Mourinho's request for no Carneiro questions, the manager is asked if he has spoken to the players about the situation. He replies: "The only thing they have to worry about is having the best around them in this club, they're surrounded by top quality people. The most important thing for them is medical attention during the week."

12.43pmMourinho is asked how important this match is in the title race, and he says: "We are speaking about 38 matches. It is an eternity, a marathon that started last week. I cannot say it's not crucial, I cannot say it's not very, very, very important. They're title contenders so three points are important, but I cannot say that a win will mean anything significant."

12.41pmDropping points last week has led to renewed transfer speculation surrounding Chelsea, but Mourinho insists: "If we are not top of the league in terms of the spenders, people don't need to be worried."

12.39pmFinally Mourinho gets to move onto his team news, revealing: "Oscar is a doubt. He had a little injury in training. Courtois is suspended. Apart from that, it's all good."

12.38pmThe manager reiterates: "The ones that like football, please stay. They ones that don't, go or don't ask questions. If somebody thinks that a disagreement between the manager and medical staff can affect the team, they don't have a clue."

12.37pmMourinho is asked if he regrets what he said last week. He responds: "The game is emotional, football is football, and the match is the match. Everything after the match can be different, especially after the meeting I had with my medical department yesterday."

12.35pmMourinho won't be taking any further questions about the medical staff, as he announces: "If you want to speak to me about football I'm here. If you want to ask about other things I'm not here."

12.34pmMourinho adds: "[Physio] Jon Fearn and Dr Carneiro will not be on the bench on Sunday, but that doesn't mean they cannot be in the future."

12.33pmStraight to the Carneiro issue, Mourinho says: "I don't want to run away from it. I accept the question, and understand. First of all, I want to say I have a fantastic medical team led by Dr Paco Biosca, more than a dozen professionals, very good relations with them and, as they tell me all the time, they were never praised so much as in the last few years. I praise them lots of times. We have disagreements during this period, we need disagreements to improve. We work together."
