Ben Williams: 'Jose Mourinho dressing room appearance silenced us'

Bradford goalkeeper Ben Williams admits that dressing room celebrations stopped when Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho walked in to congratulate them on their FA Cup upset.

Bradford City goalkeeper Ben Williams has spoken of the moment that Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho walked into the Bantams dressing room following their shock 4-2 win over the Blues in the FA Cup.

The Premier League leaders surrendered a two-goal lead to their League One opponents at Stamford Bridge as the Yorkshire outfit produced arguably one of the biggest giant-killings in the competition's history on Saturday.

Williams told BBC Sport: "I got my little boy on the pitch with me after the game and the fans were amazing, they didn't want to leave. Then Jose Mourinho came in to the dressing room and wished us well, congratulated us.

"It was a very surreal moment. In he walked and the celebrations just stopped. Everyone was silent and in amazement that this figure had waltzed in, with the aura he has. He was very respectful, very humble.

"That was the icing on the cake. The look on everyone's faces in the dressing room was fantastic, it's something I'll never forget."

Bradford also reached the final of the Capital One Cup two years ago, knocking out Arsenal and Aston Villa along the way.
