David Luiz out of Barcelona tie

Chelsea defender David Luiz will miss Wednesday's Champions League semi-final clash against Barcelona with a hamstring injury.

The 24-year-old, who was already suffering with a knee problem, was carried off during Chelsea's 5-1 FA Cup semi-final win against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, and has now been ruled out of the European tie.

Gary Cahill is expected to partner Blues skipper John Terry at the heart of the defence.

Luiz has made 38 appearances for Chelsea this season.
