Report: Clubs monitor Nicky Bailey

A host of Championship clubs are reportedly preparing a move for Middlesbrough's out-of-contract midfielder Nicky Bailey.

The 29-year-old, who appeared just eight times for the former Premier League club last season, is available on a free transfer after his contract came to an end.

According to Sky Sports News, the former Charlton Athletic midfielder is not short of offers, with as many as seven clubs interested in his services.

Queens Park Rangers and Reading have been linked with a possible move.
