Charlton Athletic have taken a 1-0 lead into the half-time interval against Blackpool at Bloomfield Road.
Chris Eagles came close to breaking the deadlock against his former club in the early stages, but the Charlton midfielder could only head over the crossbar after finding space to meet a free kick.
However, Blackpool looked dangerous for long spells as they dominated possession and a long-range effort from Tom Barkhuizen drifted just over the crossbar.
It was the visitors who took the lead just after the half-hour mark when Tony Watt found the space to force Joe Lewis into a save, and Eagles reacted quickest to fire home the rebound.
Blackpool attempted to hit back immediately, but David Perkins could only send an effort straight at Stephen Henderson.
