Australian midfielder Tom Rogic has been cleared to begin his career with Celtic after a successful work permit hearing.

The 20-year-old, who is a full international with his country, signed for the Scottish outfit on a four-and-a-half-year deal earlier this month.

He was not able to make his debut for the club as he waited for his work permit to be cleared, but according to Sky Sports News, he is now eligible to play for the Scottish outfit.

Rogic is just one of a number of new players expected to arrive at Celtic in the January window.
