Team News: Gary Mackay-Steven, Stuart Armstrong start for Celtic

Gary Mackay-Steven and Stuart Armstrong start for Celtic as they take on Dundee United for the fourth time in two weeks.

Celtic have made four changes to their starting lineup for their Scottish Premiership clash against Dundee United.

Gary Mackay-Steven and Stuart Armstrong start against their former club for the first time, after missing Celtic's Scottish League Cup win on Sunday and Scottish Cup thrashing of the Terrors on Wednesday.

Stefan Johansen returns to the squad after suspension, replacing Anthony Stokes, and John Guidetti starts up front in place of Leigh Griffiths, who is on the bench.

Ryan McGowan starts for United having had his midweek red card chalked off after an appeal, and Paul Dixon returns to the lineup after his suspension.

Captain Sean Dillon and striker Mario Bilate miss out due to injury.

Celtic: Gordon; Ambrose, Denayer, van Dijk, Izaguirre; Brown, Bitton; Mackay-Steven, Johansen, Armstrong; Guidetti

Dundee United: Cierzniak; Dixon, Fojut, Souttar, McGowan; Paton, Rankin, Butcher, Spittal, Telfer; Ciftci
