Stefan Johansen: Scottish League Cup win feels "fantastic"

Stefan Johansen says that Celtic's Scottish League Cup win feels "fantastic" after being named man of the match in the final victory over Dundee United.

Midfielder Stefan Johansen has said that he feels "fantastic" after Celtic's League Cup final win over Dundee United.

The Norwegian international was named man of the match as Celtic won their first trophy of the season thanks to goals from Kris Commons and James Forrest.

"There's still a long way to go for the treble but this is the first trophy," Johansen told BBC Sport.

"We struggled in the beginning of the season, but I was sure the gaffer was going to do brilliant things here. It's just a fantastic feeling. I said when I came to Celtic I wanted to win trophies.

"I enjoy playing under [Ronny Deila], he understands how to get the best out of me, he believes in me. I am really enjoying my football right now."

Johansen has already won one Scottish Premiership title since joining Celtic in January 2014.
