Carlisle United appoint Keith Curle as new manager

Carlisle United announce the appointment of Keith Curle as the club's new manager.

Carlisle United have announced the appointment of Keith Curle as the club's new manager.

The 50-year-old, who has not managed a club since leaving Notts County last year, will replace Graham Kavanagh following his dismissal at the start of the month.

The Cumbrians have confirmed on their official website that Curle has signed a contract until the end of the 2015-16 campaign.

Curle, who made over 700 appearances as a player, will be joined by new assistant manager Colin West.
