Cardiff City defender Ben Turner has told his teammates that they need to focus on the future after the sacking of manager Malky Mackay.
The Bluebirds are 16th in the Premier League and played out a 2-2 draw with Sunderland on Saturday.
"We have to move on. If we don't, then we will get relegated. We have to look forward. It's what we want to do," Sky Sports News quotes Turner as saying.
"That's the one thing the old manager would say, once the game is over look to the next one.
"Whatever's happened, you focus on the next challenge. We are at the halfway point (of the season) and we have a good chance of staying up."
Cardiff face Arsenal next in the league.
