Paddy Kenny makes Bury return

Bury have brought in veteran Paddy Kenny on a short-term deal, handing the goalkeeper his second spell at the club.

After playing non-League football for Bradford Park Avenue, Kenny was given his first chance in the Football League by the Shakers, where he made 133 league appearances between 1998 and 2002.

However, with Daniel Bachmann and Jack Ruddy both on international duty next weekend, the League One outfit have moved to bring in the 37-year-old ahead of next week's trip to Gillingham.

Kenny has been without a club since leaving Ipswich Town at the end of last season.
