Adam Lockwood departs Bury

A statement on Bury's official website has confirmed that defender Adam Lockwood has departed the club by mutual consent.

The 31-year-old arrived on a free transfer in 2012, but has made just one appearance for the club this season.

"Adam leaves Gigg Lane with the club's best wishes and our thanks for his service to Bury FC," read a statement from the club.

Lockwood, who began his professional career at Reading, has also previously played for Yeovil Town and Doncaster Rovers.
