Team News: Burnley unchanged for Birmingham City clash

Burnley stick with the same XI that drew with Leeds on the opening day of the season for their clash at home to Birmingham City in the Championship.

Burnley have stuck with the same starting lineup that drew with Leeds United on the opening day of the season for their clash at home to Birmingham City in the Championship.

The likes of Michael Duff, Ben Mee, George Boyd and Jelle Vossen are all included for the hosts, who were beaten 1-0 by Port Vale in the League Cup first round in midweek.

Birmingham City boss Gary Rowett has also gone with the same XI that beat Reading 2-1 in their league opener last weekend. Unlike Burnley, the Blues survived their first-round match of the League Cup earlier this week by defeating Bristol Rovers.

Demarai Gray and Clayton Donaldson lead the line for the visitors, while Jon Toral and Maikel Kieftenbeld also feature.

Burnley: Heaton; Darikwa, Duff, Keane, Mee; Boyd, Jones, Arfield, Kightly; Jutkiewicz, Vossen
Subs: Gilks, Ward, Sordell, Vokes, Taylor, Jackson, Anderson.

Birmingham City: Kuszczak; Caddis, Spector, Morrison, Grounds; Gleeson, Kieftenbeld, Cotterill, Toral; Gray, Donaldson
Subs: Legzdins, Eardley, Robinson, Thomas, Maghoma, Shinnie, Davis
