After a week off for international football, Burnley and Sheffield Wednesday were back in Championship action on Saturday afternoon.
Sean Dyche's Clarets came into the match after back-to-back wins to end August and they made it three in a row with a 3-1 victory at Turf Moor.
Read how it all unfolded in Lancashire with Sports Mole's minute-by-minute updates below.
5.02pmThat's all from us here as Burnley make it three wins in a row. Thanks for joining SM and make sure you click around on site for loads of results and reaction now and throughout the evening. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
5pmClick here to see how the table looks after today's matches. Brighton won again to move four points clear at the top, while Burnley's win sees them up to fifth. Wednesday are down to 19th.
4.57pmWednesday will feel hard done by, but they simply weren't as clinical as the Clarets and it's now no league win in five since the opening day.
4.54pmAll over at Turf Moor and it's Burnley who make it three wins in a row. They weren't at their best today but took their chances well.
90+3 minBURNLEY SUB: The home fans applaud Gray as he leaves the field to be replaced by Chris Long.
90+1 minThree minutes have been added on, by the way.
90+1 minGame over and a first Burnley goal for Gray as he blocks Palmer's clearance before cutting back onto his right foot and firing low through the legs of Wildsmith.
84 minWith both Nuhiu and Joao now on, Wednesday will undoubtedly start playing route-one football. Both men are good in the air and Forestieri and Matias will be looking to pounce on any loose balls.
81 minWEDNESDAY SUB: Bannan is taken off almost instantly and it's big Portuguese striker Joao who is on in his place.
80 minBOOKING! Bannan picks up the first yellow card of the match for a foul on Boyd.
78 minTaylor scored a wonderful free kick last month here at Turf Moor and this is another great finish as he volleys home at the back post. Gray picked him out really well.
77 minBURNLEY SUB: The Clarets quickly make their second change, with Rouwen Hennings taking Vokes's place up front.
76 minWEDNESDAY SUB: It's Wallace who comes off and unsurprisingly Matias is on in his place.
73 minChance for the players to have a breather as Wednesday winger Wallace goes down injured. Final instructions from both managers on the touchline as they prepare for a final 15-minute push.
71 minInto the final 20 minutes and Wednesday are still yet to make a change. Surely Matias must be given a run-out given his form recently?
68 minSAVE! Brilliant from Wildsmith as he somehow reacts to Boyd's deflected shot, which looked destined to nestle in the goal after Vokes had knocked the ball down to the winger.
66 minCHANCE! Wednesday have been the better side in the second half and they almost take the lead as Forestieri slips in Wallace, whose cross is just too strong for those in the middle.
63 minTaylor instantly in the action as he lines up a 30-yard free kick and fires it straight at Wildsmith. The ball bounced just in front of the Owls' stopper, but he did well to hold it.
62 minBURNLEY SUB: Dyche makes his first change, taking off Kightly for Matt Taylor.
61 minCLOSE! End-to-end stuff as Burnley storm down the other end and go close through Gray, who is just beaten to the ball in the area by Wednesday keeper Wildsmith.
60 minCHANCE! Nuhiu goes close to his and Wednesday's second, running on to Forestieri's pass and blasting straight at Heaton. He was a little off-balance and couldn't quite direct the shot where he wanted.
58 minBannan, who is surely the smallest player on the pitch, gets up really well at the back post to meet Palmer's cross but he can't keep his header down.
55 minApart form those two Forestieri efforts, we've seen very little of note in the second half. Burnley have been very quiet and the home fans probably want to see a change.
51 minSHOT! Forestieri again has a shot after Wallace cushioned the ball to him on the edge of the box. This one is much closer, but he can't keep it down as it whizzes over the top.
49 minForestieri is having a good debut here and he's just tried his luck from distance and sent it comfortably wide.
3.55pmIt's been a half of few chances and a draw is the right half-time scoreline. Burnley will need to improve if they are to make it three wins in a row, while Wednesday will certainly take a point you feel.
3.52pmDavid Jones's free kick put the home side in front after just six minutes, but Wednesday hit back not long after in the 20th minute thanks to a booming header by Nuhiu, who also scored at Turf Moor in the League Cup last season.
44 minHalf time almost upon us now and Wednesday boss Carvalhal will be fairly pleased with his side's performance. Remember, he made eight changes and debutants Pudil and Forestieri have impressed.
41 minCHANCE! Gray's effort took a slight deflection off Pudil and the resulting corner was swung over by Jones, with Keane reacting quickest to a loose ball and prodding over.
41 minCLOSE! Gray in the thick of it again as Boyd tees up the striker and his low strike from just inside the box fizzes wide.
39 minKeane looks for Gray with a ball over the top, but the latter is ahead of the defence and flagged offside.
36 minForestieri has been bright on his Wednesday debut and he's just won the Owls a free kick about 25 yards out that Bannan drove at goal. It was a weak low strike that didn't even reach the keeper with Duff hacking clear.
33 minSAVE! Kightly releases Gray and this is his chance to score his first Burnley goal but he's denied by Wildsmith.
32 minHalf-chance at the other end as Forestieri lifts a deep cross to the back post where Bannan tries a difficult volley and makes a right mess of it.
29 minCLOSE! Good old goalmouth scramble in the Wednesday box and the Owls just about survive after both Arfield and Vokes saw shots blocked.
29 minKeane doing what he's paid to do with defending there, but he's Burnley's top scorer this season with three goals. That's as many as he's ever scored in a single campaign and it saw him voted for August's Championship Player of the Month which was won by Brighton's Kazenga LuaLua.
27 minGood pressure from the hosts and they go close to a second as Wallace's deep cross from the right is met really well by diminutive Forestieri. His header was looping towards the corner but Keane reacted and headed away for a corner.
23 minYou have to say that 1-1 is a fair scoreline as we reach the midway point of the opening half. There have been just two shots and they've both gone in. Wednesday boss Carvalhal will be pleased that his side has had more of the ball against a Burnley side usually pretty good at knocking it about.
20 minWednesday hit back with their first effort on goal. While Jones's goal was all about precision, this is all about power as Pudil hoists a cross into the box and Nuhiu powers home a header. He got up earlier than Mee and just wanted it more than the Burnley left-back.
13 minVery little has happened since that superb opening goal. It remains the only shot on goal. Wednesday have tried to get in behind the Burnley defence, but both Forestieri and Nuhiu have been caught offside.
10 minClick here to see the latest as it stands Championship table. It makes good reading for Burnley fans, with the Clarets sitting third currently.
7 minOh yes! Jones curls it over the wall and into the net. Wildsmith had no chance!
2.58pmHere come the two teams out of the tunnel. Burnley are in their claret and blue home colours, while Wednesday don their dark blue away kit.
2.56pmIt's a big afternoon for Andre Gray, who made his debut last time out against Bristol City but is still waiting for his first goal of the season after an £8m move from Brentford.
2.53pmPREDICTION: In the video below I go for a draw in this match, but given how many changes Wednesday have made I'm going to have to back Burnley to nick it 2-1. They're more settled and could make it three wins in a row.
2.51pmOn our in-depth match preview, over half of you are backing Wednesday to end their winless streak today. Here's what I had to say about the game on the Sports Mole Sofa earlier this week:
2.49pmH2H: The two teams weren't in the same division last year, but still met in the Capital One Cup second round and Wednesday claimed a 1-0 win at Turf Moor to progress. In fact, Wednesday are also unbeaten in eight league games away at Burnley, winning four and drawing four since their last defeat there in October 2000.
2.46pmHave to say I'm really surprised by some of those changes. Marco Matias had scored in the last two games but drops to the bench, so it's especially odd to see him not in the starting XI.
2.43pmAs for Wednesday, Carlos Carvalhal has made a whopping eight changes as he goes in search of a first league win since the opening day. Tom Lees, Sam Hutchinson and Ross Wallace are the only players to keep their place as Daniel Pudil, Barry Bannan and Fernando Forestieri all make their debuts.
2.38pmFirst, let's take a look at the home side. Sean Dyche unsurprisingly names an unchanged side after back-to-back wins, with Andre Gray and Sam Vokes in attack. Matt Lowton is in the squad for the first time this season, but only makes the bench as Tendayi Darikwa continues at right-back.
2.31pmAllo allo! The feature 3pm kickoff on matchday six of the Championship takes place at Turf Moor as Burnley host Sheffield Wednesday. Half an hour until kickoff, so let's get to it.
