FIFA suspend Bulgarian international for failing drugs test

Bulgarian international fails drugs test

An unnamed Bulgarian international has been provisionally suspended by FIFA for failing a drugs test.

The footballer tested positive for a banned substance after his nation's World Cup qualifier against Malta on September 10.

FIFA have released a statement confirming that the player has been banned for 30 days following "adverse analytical findings in relation to a doping control".

Bulgaria are currently second in Group B of their World Cup qualifying campaign.
