Cole Skuse nears Ipswich Town move?

Ipswich Town are reportedly closing on a move for Bristol City's much-coveted midfielder Cole Skuse.

The 27-year-old, who came through the youth ranks at the club, has made over 300 appearances for the Robins.

However, with his contract coming to an end this summer, the versatile midfielder will seek pastures new.

A host of Championship clubs were believed to be in the race, but according to Sky Sports News, Ipswich boss Mick McCarthy has already agreed terms with the player.

Bristol City were relegated to League One this season.
