O'Driscoll: 'Anderson to Ipswich not done'

Bristol City manager Sean O'Driscoll has insisted that Paul Anderson's proposed switch to Championship side Ipswich Town is not complete.

Recent reports had claimed that winger Anderson was close to sealing a move to Ipswich, who would allow Jay Emmanuel-Thomas to move in the opposition direction.

However, O'Driscoll has admitted that "there's work to be done" before the two players can trade clubs.

"It's all come from the Ipswich end really," O'Driscoll told the club's official website. "It's a long way from bearing fruit. There's work to be done.

"We got approached to take Emmanuel-Thomas. I had him [on loan] at Doncaster. The discussions are around financials."

Anderson joined the Robins from Nottingham Forest last year.
