Richard Foster joins Rangers

Experienced full-back Richard Foster has signed a two-year deal with Rangers after leaving Bristol City this summer.

The 27-year-old, who will officially join the Scottish outfit on September 1, becomes the seventh free agent to join Rangers in the close season.

The Scotsman spent the entire 2010-11 campaign on loan at Rangers from Aberdeen, before leaving for Bristol City in 2012.

A number of Football League clubs had also been linked with his services this summer.
