Brighton eye Simon Cox loan

Brighton and Hove Albion are reportedly interested in taking West Bromwich Albion striker Simon Cox on loan.

Brighton boss Gus Poyet has already acquired Joe Mattock and Gonzalo Jara Reyes from the Baggies.

"There is still a possibility we will bring in one when the loan window opens," Poyet said.

"But it's got to be someone from the Premier League, if not we won't."

Roy Hodgson has said that he wants to keep Cox at West Brom.
