Brentford are interested in signing Christian Eriksen on a six-month contract until the end of the season, according to a report.

Brentford have offered Christian Eriksen a six-month contract to get back into football, according to a report.

The 29-year-old has not played since suffering a cardiac arrest during Denmark's match with Finland during Euro 2020, but he has expressed a desire to continue playing.

Inter Milan agreed to terminate his contract after it was decided that Eriksen could not play in Italy due to his health, which makes him a free agent at the moment.

According to the Daily Mail, Brentford have offered the midfielder a six-month contract until the end of the season, but they are one of four clubs in the Premier League currently interested.

On top of that, there are dozens of teams around Europe hoping to secure his signature this month, and Eriksen is weighing up his options right now.

The Danish international spent eight years playing with Tottenham Hotspur in England, providing him with plenty of experience that Brentford could benefit from.

The Bees will be back in action on Wednesday when they face Manchester United in the Premier League.
