Half-Time Report: No goals between Brentford, Brighton & Hove Albion

Brentford create a number of good opportunities in their FA Cup third-round tie with Brighton & Hove Albion but go into the break goalless.

Brentford have had a number of good chances in their FA Cup third-round tie against Brighton & Hove Albion this afternoon but go into the break with the score at 0-0.

Brighton keeper David Stockdale saved Jota's low strike early on before Moses Odubajo's follow-up shot went across the face of goal and just wide.

Alan Judge's free kick then went over the top of Stockdale's net and into the Albion fans behind as Brentford looked for an opening goal.

Their next chance came in the form of Jon Toral, who forced a point-blank save from Stockdale after good work down the right by Jota.

Brighton finally fashioned themselves a real chance on goal as Solly March's shot took a deflection and just eluded Sam Baldock, who was sliding in at close range.
