Borussia Dortmund have revealed that Marco Reus will be out of action for around four weeks.
The 25-year-old suffered a partial tear to his left ankle ligaments during Germany's opening Euro 2016 qualifier against Scotland yesterday.
It is the same ankle that he damaged in Germany's final World Cup warm-up friendly against Armenia in June.
He was forced to miss the tournament in Brazil as Joachim Low's men won the trophy for a fourth time.
Reus is believed to be a transfer target of many top European clubs, with Premier League sides Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United all thought to have expressed an interest in signing him.
