Fabrice Muamba plays five-a-side

Former Bolton Wanderers midfielder Fabrice Muamba has confirmed that he partook in a five-a-side football match on Wednesday.

The 24-year-old, who announced his retirement from football last week due to health reasons, is expected to remain involved in the game in some capacity.

"Just finish playing five a side wow. Damn felt so good," he tweeted.

Muamba began his professional career at Arsenal.
