Boca Juniors director Carlos Aguas has said that the club expect to complete the singing of Carlos Tevez next week.
The Argentine has been strongly linked with a return to his former club after spending the past three seasons at Juventus.
"We want to have the best squad in Argentina and with Tevez we'll improve our team," Aguas told reporters.
"To make it official, we must wait until Tuesday or at the latest, Wednesday. Everything is in movement, so we just need the final signature."
Tevez came through the youth ranks at Boca and scored 38 goals during his time at the club.
