Daniel Bogdanovic makes Blackpool move

Sheffield United striker Daniel Bogdanovic has completed a transfer to Championship side Blackpool.

The clubs agreed an undisclosed fee for the 31-year-old yesterday and he has now penned a one-year contract at Bloomfield Road.

"I can't wait to step on that pitch," he told the club's official website. "I'm totally focused on this adventure and I'm here to give my best to the team and to the gaffer.

"I played against Blackpool when I was with Barnsley and I always admired the way Blackpool play football. It is a dream move for me to play in a team with a manager who loves football. It is the perfect place to be.

"My first target is to get on that pitch and prove to everyone what I can do and thank the gaffer and the management for the trust they have shown in me."

The Malta international has been handed the number 13 shirt.
