Blackpool sign Bristol City goalkeeper Elliot Parish

Blackpool have signed Bristol City goalkeeper Elliot Parish on a one-year deal.

The club's 11th summer signing arrives on a free transfer with the option to extend the deal an extra 12 months.

Parish told the official club website: "Coming to the Championship is a step up I'm looking forward to. I want to be battling Joe Lewis for the number one spot."

The 24-year-old spent 12 months at the Robins, making 19 appearances and spending a short period on loan at Newport County.

Parish began his career at Aston Villa and has since represented England at Under-20 level.
