DJ Campbell's Blackburn Rovers transfer 'collapses'

DJ Campbell's proposed transfer to Blackburn Rovers from Queens Park Rangers has reportedly collapsed.

A problem involving the player's paperwork has been cited as the reason the deal could not be completed, BBC Sport reports.

The 31-year-old recently returned to Loftus Road following a three-month loan stint with Ipswich Town.

Hull City were tipped as the frontrunners to secure the striker's services but Blackburn appeared to have beaten them to his signature.

Campbell scored 10 goals during his loan spell with Ipswich.
