Blackburn Rovers manager Gary Bowyer has admitted that he could potentially lose some of his players during the January transfer window.
Twelve months ago, Rovers were forced to part with centre-back Scott Dann, who joined Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
This time around, Bowyer believes that further interest could be registered in certain members of his squad from clubs in the top flight.
"It's going to be no more difficult than last January, when we lost Scott Dann last year and managed to deal with that blow and get Michael Keane in on loan," Bowyer told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph.
"We're all working hard trying to pre-empt what might happen or not. If Premier League clubs are doing their jobs properly they're looking at our players, it's as simple as that."
Rovers are currently ninth in the Championship, five points adrift of the playoffs.
