Blackburn eye Senegal midfielder Papakouly Diop

Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean is reportedly interested in signing Senegal midfielder Papakouly Diop from Racing Santander.

Kean is planning a short-term deal for the 25-year-old in next month's transfer window, according to The Mirror.

Spanish side Racing Santander are currently battling financial difficulties, and have been forced to drop some of their stars for bargain prices.

Blackburn are currently 19th in the Premier League with 10 points from 15 games.
