Blackburn Rovers confirm Hull City bid for Jordan Rhodes

Gary Bowyer confirms that Hull City have made a bid for Blackburn Rovers striker Jordan Rhodes.

Blackburn Rovers manager Gary Bowyer has confirmed that Hull City have made a bid for striker Jordan Rhodes.

The 24-year-old, who joined Rovers from Huddersfield Town two years ago for a fee of £8m, has been linked to the Premier League outfit as a replacement for Shane Long.

"There has been an enquiry which has been taken to the board and the owners and that's as much as I know," Bowyer said in his pre-match press conference.

Rhodes scored 25 goals for Blackburn in the Championship last season.
