Blackburn Rovers pull out of Barry Bannan deal?

Blackburn Rovers have reportedly given up on their deal to sign Aston Villa midfielder Barry Bannan.

The 23-year-old was expected to make the move to Ewood Park after the Lancashire club agreed a deal with the Premier League outfit.

However, due to Blackburn's inability to agree terms with Bannan's representatives, the club have pulled out of the transfer, according to Sky Sports News.

The Scotland international first joined Villa as a youth player in 2004.
