Blackburn Rovers held by Bradford City

Blackburn Rovers have continued their pre-season campaign with a goalless draw away at Bradford City.

The Championship outfit enjoyed the better of the opening exchanges, but they were struggling to create clear-cut opportunities against the League One side.

Jason Lowe and Corry Evans went close for the visitors midway through the half, while James Hanson headed wide for Bradford shortly before the break.

The Bantams started the second half in a positive manner, with Mark Yeates and Alan Sheehan bringing excellent stops out of goalkeeper Paul Robinson.

Blackburn made wholesale changes with 20 minutes remaining, but after Luke Varney wasted one opening from a tight angle, Rovers were forced to make do with a draw.
